I have worked in childcare since 2008. After I completed my level three in Child Care and Development I started a degree in Childhood and Youth Studies with the Open University and traveled around Europe as a nanny.
I worked with families in Italy, France and Slovakia. It was really great to experience different cultures learn new languages and meet some amazing people.
On returning to the UK I worked in schools, nurseries and communities centres gaining as much experience as possible doing various roles such as room supervisor, breakfast, after school club, holiday club supervisor, and teaching assistant. I have had experience working with ages 3 months-12 years and loved every age and stage.
I love working with children and enjoy watching & supporting them whilst they develop & grow. I am still studying towards my degree and also a level three in management, I am devoted to creating the perfect atmosphere & environment for children and parents to enjoy the experience they gain from our Nursery.
We have an excellent team and I like to ensure I am always on hand to ensure the smooth running of the nursery. There is nothing more rewarding than knowing you have played a part in the development and growth of the children at our nursery and have encouraged and helped them to reach the very best potential that they can, and this is why I love my job!
I have my level four in childcare and have over 20 years experience working with children.
I run the Butterfly Room and love to spend the day making children feel happy and safe, ensuring they feel confident enough to reach their full potential and their next learning goals.
Casey and I work well together to provide the perfect environment for our babies to thrive in. It is important to us to provide the children with new exciting learning opportunities, we do this by planning and implementing activities based on the individuals need, interests and next steps.
It is so refreshing to support Estée with the running of the nursery and working alongside a team of people who have the same passion and outlook on childcare and development as me.

I have worked in childcare for over 5 years. Since qualifying I have worked in early years settings as an Early Years Practitioner and also at a local youth centre where I gained experience with children of all ages.
I have worked at The Grosvenor since May 2016, I work alongside Sophie in the Pre-School room. I enjoy providing the children with opportunities to practice their ever growing independence and a range of activities to promote their learning in an environment they are safe and secure in.
I am an organised efficient person who loves to help others so assisting and planning activities to help children reach their milestones make me feel a real sense of achievement. My favourite activities to implement are the ones the where the children can get really messy!
In my spare time I like taking my dog Duke on long walks, spending time with my boyfriend, playing computer games, and staying active by going on runs.
I started my apprenticeship at The Grosvenor in December 2014 and have since then achieved my level three in childcare. I am excited to further my carer within the nursery and enjoy the support I get from my fellow team members to reach my full potential and further my knowledge of child development.
Having grown up in a big family surrounded by babies & young children I soon realised how much I loved watching them, learn and grow. I am a very patient person and always happy to help others whether that may be on a professional or personal level.
During my spare time I enjoy caring for my baby sister of 1 year & my other siblings, I am close to my family & enjoy relaxing & spending time with them.
Whilst a college I studied art and design so I am very creative and love experimenting new ideas and messy play within the nursery, encouraging the children to join in with new activities and learn through play.
I started working at the nursery in August 2015 and am currently working towards my NVQ level 3 qualification in childcare, following this I am hoping to continue with my studies and one day become a primary school teacher. I work alongside Steph in the Pre-School room, I enjoy helping the children get ready for school and find it so rewarding when they learn something new, at this age they are like little sponges but they all learn so differently. Steph and I work hard to make sure we tailor to each child’s needs and adapt activities to meet different learning intentions.
I have always wanted to work with children, having many young children in my family has always inspired me to progress with a career in childcare, I am eager to progress with my career in childcare and am excited for my future prospects within the nursery.
In my spare time I enjoy keeping fit by going to the gym, I also like to cook & experiment with new ingredients and recipes to relax I enjoy getting together with friends & family for shopping trips or just to enjoy some quality time together.
After completing six months work experience at The Grosvenor for college I was offered a job permanently. I was delighted to accept and can’t wait to see what opportunities will arise for me as I complete the rest of my level three in house as an apprentice.
I help Di with the runnings of the Lady Bird room , I like helping children learn new things so working in the infant room is really rewarding as they are always learning new things, I really enjoy being a part of it! I have always loved the atmosphere in the nursery, everyone is so friendly and happy. Parents, children and staff have made me feel so welcome as the newest member of The Grosvenor Team!
In my spare time I like to keep fit in the gym, I am part of the young farmers so enjoy going to the young farmers balls and discos.
